Anyone else prefer short threads without a bunch of replies?

I do

I like threads with about 10 replies.
Easy to quickly read them and and my own comments if I want to.
Hate reading threads with like 5 pages



So, with everyones help, let keep this a short thread.

yes but I want to make a suggestion. On threads that have more than 20 posts, every 20th person to post with cliffs of the thread so far.

I usually stay out of a thraed with more than 50 replies if i haven't chimed in already.

Depends on what it's about. Most of the time I'll read them as long as there are less than 150 replies and it's interesting. A lot of times though I'll read them and then not post.

yep, i generally stay away from long threads. people keep beating over the dead horse over and over and over, and there are too many tangents and deeply nested quotes; just a pain to go through. anything you post in it also get buried.
