Based on the opinions of guys in this forum i decided to pass and keep my Droid X. I hope a Droid X2 or something similar is coming soon.

Posting from my new iPhone so far so good ...even for a seven month old phone heh
Says the guy with a three line signature about his computer.
Do you actually use your computer?
Yeah lol WTF is with that, posting your computer specs in a computer related forum. He's sure to miss out on the 50 replies of "WTF?!?! What r ur computer specs???!" when posting a computer related question.. in a computer related forum (did I say that already?)
I think some people actually do spend more time arguing about a phone then actually using it, other than connecting via 4G network (3G is so 2009 lawl) so they can post about their phone on a forum. Despite internet forums with thousands vehemently arguing over phones, I have yet to see anyone give two shits in the real world about who uses what phone, or what someone elses phone can or can't do.

My parents got theirs. My pops is pretty excited. Anything to rescue him from his Storm 1.
LOL, read an article that reviewed who exactly was getting the iP4 on V, a massive number of them were coming from the Storm I & II, BB's in general, and Droid X's.
So I had my first hands on experience with iPhone today at the Verizon store. I used to have an LG Dare and could text okay on that. The capacitive touch actually gave some feed back on button pushes. But the rest of the phone was a laggy, buggy hunk of junk. I moved over to an Env3, which I think is almost the pinnacle of texting.
Using the iPhone was a horrible experience. I couldn't find a way to flip it to landscape so the keyboard was small, the absence of feedback makes for multiple button hits, and the auto correct/substitute was just annoying.
Same thing with actually trying to type in a phone number.
I'm just sort of frustrated with these new touch phones...Droid, iPhone, whatever...physical buttons simply are not replaceable by touch screens for phone and texting purposes. But I love them for almost everything else.
If Apple could give me a touch screen with a flip open keyboard i'd be in heaven.

You're just not used to touch screen.
Just like everything else, pratice makes perfect.
There are people that can type insanely fast on the iPhone.
I myself can type very very fast.
I can type the fastest on the iphone and that includes many many smartphones that I have used.
If you can, that's fine. I simply don't agree. And that's fine too. I messed around with a Droid X and my accuracy and speed was significantly faster on that. Part due to a larger screen, but mainly due to it not being as sensative. Touch screens just aren't a replacement for physical buttons for me no matter how much I'd like them to be.
It's a personal preference, you don't have to try and convince me otherwise.

Rotate the phone to landscape orientation, bam, landscape keyboard. Should be available system wide.
