Anyone Else Polish Their Own Boots/Shoes?

No. Isn't the scruffy look in? I went "hiking" in my Diesel shoes and they look better than they would if they were new from the factory.

Yes, of course. If you wear decent leather shoes/boots it is a must IMO.

I always polish my shoes before hitting up the town, or for a formal occassion. Unless, of course, I'm wearing trainers.

I was just wondering if anyone other than military still did it. We wear boots at work and I am the only one that polishes mine. I was just polishing mine and thinking about putting a spit shine on the tips like the good old days.

I have a nice pair for special occasions that I keep w/ the good ol military shine and another pair that I usually wear that are all scuffed up and rugged looking. The rugged look goes better with most of my clothes so they get worn the most.
