Anyone else plan to see Borat tonight, only to find its not in their city?

I did not know that Fox scaled back the release of the movie to 800 theatres, down from the originally planned 2200, for tonight. My fiance and I had planned to go see it tonight, and I check this morning, and NONE of the theatres here have it. I called two of them and they said they aren't sure if they will ever get it.

This sucks. Anyone else get screwed by this? I was really looking forward to seeing it. 🙁

I have heard that if the movie does well in it's limited release this weekend, they will put it out to more theatres. Who knows though. Sucks.

I have no desire to see it. If it comes out on HBO or Showtime and nothing else is on, I may watch it.

It got a C+/B- in my book. With 20 minutes left, I was sort of just waiting for it to end so I could go home and do something more intresting.

That, and coupled with the "too much cock" and "too much of a really fat naked guy" it got kind of annoying.

YES!!! I have a date tonight and we agreed to see it only to find out it's not playing in EITHER of our cinemas. Why!?

Its playing in my small college town, surprising. I'm going to see it later tonight after work/school 😛

It's playing here in DC. Will see it soon.

Not in Georgetown you won't, unless you bought your tickets yesterday. 😛

Sold out eh? I checked earlier in the week but not today.

I still want to see the Prestige first.

I thought maybe it would be playing in State College, PA, which is where Penn State is(like half an hour from me)...but not even there. I couldn't even find a Carmike theatre in the Pittsburgh area which had it. Just very weird.

Just saw the 1:10 show in the Chicago burbs... has it's funny moments, has it's genius moments, but overall it was mediocre IMO.
