Hello,
I've done about 20-25 orders so far this year from ChiefValue. Out of those orders about 1/3 of the orders are always over $450+. I started noticing a trend about 6 orders ago. All orders I make over $450, the automatic process for what ever reason is unable to verify billing and shipping address and I get a e-mail saying they are gonna manually call up my bank to verify the information. At first I thought it was a fluke and then I had an "idea" and then on saturday I did a test. In the morning, I ordered around $500 dollars of stuff and I right away got a e-mail saying unable to verify address information and they will call up my bank the next business day. Then 30 minutes later I bought a item for $50 and the order processed just fine. Then 30 minutes later I made an additional purchase for $800 and got the e-mail unable to verify shipping and billing address.
Today I tried to call them up to figure out if this is a bank issue or some kind of practice by ChiefValue for items over $400 or something. I got someone who I couldn't really understand and his excuse for what happened didn't make much sence... it was there automatic processing that failed and he tried telling me that the people there over the weekend couldn't verify the payment fast enough...
I'm just wondering if anyone else has ordered from them and this happend? My only complaint is that I'd like to know if this is my bank making them unable to verify or if its chiefvalue... if its my bank.. i will call them up and yell at them because I don't need a company always having to verify my details after I've made so many orders... Plus it isn't fair to the customer support of ChiefValue calling up my bank time after time being on hold on there IVR wile waiting (and listening to that crappy "disco on bango" music) for someone to pick up and verify... I'd like orders to go straight through!
