I've gotten robocalls labeled in the last few days

Scam Likely
Telecom Sys
Discover

Maybe the carriers are trying to help us out?

what phone are you using?

my old phone didnt warn crap (galaxy 5s)
the Pixel 3a I got from FS/FT seems to have some better filtering and warns about 1/2 to 1/3 of the time for spam calls.

Nope, though I do recall seeing something about some carriers starting to crack down on robocalling and ID them or something.

I get the scam likely label all the time and have been getting that for a couple of years now easily.

I don't get any notifications (I'd assume it depends more on your carrier than phone but that's just a guess). Right now I have the Galaxy S10 and have been on Verizon for 4-5 years. I just add them to the block list but with the number spoofing they do it's not as good as it could be. I still can recognize the spam calls though; normally they spoof cell numbers from the U.P. (any person I normally talk to is in my contacts already).

for several years now, my screen goes bright red with a stop sign and says "suspected spam" when some robocalls come in.

I've gotten numerous Social Security scammer calls over the last couple days. Then I got a call on my iPhone that said "Spam Risk" immediately before I saw this thread, just as it was posted. I got interrupted and couldn't finish sending this reply for a while...

I am on AT&T with an iPhone running latest iOS (13.1.2).

T Mobile has been doing this for us since we switched to them (like over a year ago). My sister who's on AT&T said they recently started doing something similar.

I was on Cricket before and no such thing. This is on an older Android phone (LG V10 using their stock phone app).

Might be a location thing too. This is in Phoenix area. I had T-Mobile prepaid for a bit before and can't recall if it did it there (for some reason I don't think it did). My Mom was on Verizon prepaid for awhile and I don't think it did anything like that. We both noticed the "Scam Likely" ID when we moved to postpaid. So this might also be related to being on the carrier postpaid vs prepaid or MVNO/etc.
