Me too, I eventually got an error saying the service is down. Have you been moved to the new outlook interface (I haven't yet)? They have been migrating people over slowly, might be related to that.

outlook.com was also acting up. Freaked me out for a moment when my phone said it couldn't log into my two outlook accounts, thought I was being hacked. :anguished:

it's back up.

also why are people putting it down?

if you use your isp's mail service and you change isp's, it's a real pain the ass to change all your emails.

Was it raining? I used to have issues with dialup every time it rained. Also, dialup on a phone? That's meta.

Trash, that's why. Had one for years, tons and tons of spam. And I am not talking "shop here," I am talking some nasty trash. So I cancelled it and started a new Hotmail account. What happened? Spam again, almost immediately, before I even told anyone what it was. Sure, it was in the "spam" folder, but it still made me question Hotmail as to why I was even getting it at all.

With Gmail, on the other hand, I have gotten ZERO spam. Yes, zero. And I have had the account for 5+ years.

I still have mine from the mid 90's that I use for some junk and nostalgia and I was able to get in fine.
