Screen shots down a little on page.

It looks pretty good, but not too spectacular IMO. The actual sky looks incredible in some of those pictures. I just hope that these are actual in game screen shots with the actual game engine, and not some pre-rendered crap. It's so hard to tell w/the marketing now a days though.

This is one of the titles I'm looking forward to on 360.

i like TW golf games. they're a little on the easy side but it's ok. i started TW Pga Tour 2005 on the PC and made it about 1/2 way through all the modes but I haven't played in a couple months. I used to be right into Links too, I have every version of Links since '98.

I have enjoyed the previous games, but plan to stick to my personal boycot of EA products.

With Microsoft Links you can build your own course using the Arnold palmer Course Designer and to see how good they are look here

2005 was WWWAAAYYYY too easy, atleast on xbox. 2004 is much better than 2005 IMO. its just not nearly as easy and takes much longer to build up your character.

I felt so rewarded when I beat 2004 100% but I didnt even have any urge to beat 2005 because it was just too easy that the fun was taken out of it.

I've never paid much attention to Links. Those courses are gorgeous! There's probably no way to put them on an Xbox is there? PC only? :(

I think Links is PC only. That guys courses are superb. I've played Nintendo and Sega golf and the Links plays just as good, in fact it gives you 3 different swing options. If you have video out on your computer (which I do ) you can send it to your TV screen just like an xbox. I have built my own course and it took 100 hours, the Arnold Palmer Course Designer is very powerful 3d software. Some courses guys have taken several hundred hours to build.

2005 was way too easy, I agree with meltdown. I mean my handicap was like -25, that is just too easy. including tiger vision was a stupid move IMO because that made what was already easy putting, a guaranteed 4 putts you would make in 18 holes.

not to mention, in 2005, when you start out at all 30% or whatever percent your stats are at, you play too well. in 2004, when you started out with low stats, you played crappy and it was much harder to build up.

The single player was too easy all the way, but it was fun playing vs your friends. Me and my buddy played one of the greatest skins game ever, went into 10 playoff holes, just kep making eagles and birdies. I finally got him on a double eagle 3 wood.

One other thing I would like to point out is the amount of courses available for Links. I personally have 30-40 including Augusta, Pebble Beach Spyglass hill, Muirfield village and many more. All of my courses are free(high quality none the less) but some like Mike Jones and others have a fee, but his are the best.

WTF? Those screenshots look no different than what they've had for the past 3 years. I'll be impressed when I see grass blades swaying in the breeze, Tiger's shirt swaying and stretching as he swings, the gallery rendered in full 3d with people moving around and stuff, etc. Golf games have always looked good--I remember when the original Links came out looooong ago.

Links 2004 for the Xbox and Amazon.

It's such an old game I wouldn't buy it new. Should be able to get it for under $15 off ebay or check FS/FT.

I meant downloading the custom courses for Xbox. I know you can get the game for it, but I didn't know if the custom courses were available for download.

Let's see some in game screenshots, not cut scenes.

Why do they always use cut scenes and not in game play?
