You've still got plenty to grow. Pick up a Song of Ice and Fire (A Game of Thrones, A Clash of Kings, A Storm of Swords) by George R. R. Martin, the first 6 wheel of time books or the Chung Kuo series by David Wingrove.

I used to read DragonLance and other D&D too but now they're just too childish for me.
