Anyone else just experience a solar flare?

That sounds like a bad transient response than a definite cause by the solar flare. Sounds like your power grid sucks,.

Experiencing one in my opinion would mean that you are dead....and so you should be....going that close to the sun.

Our satellite TV went to black for a few seconds this morning. Maybe 20. Dunno if it was the solar flares, but I suspect it was.
