Anyone else in the Central NC area notice the dust cloud, smokey smell this morning in the air?

Smells horrible outside today. I walked out the door this morning and thought my glasses were dirty, but it was just the intense smoke

Yea it's pretty bad. Much worse at my house on the north east side of Raleigh than it is in RTP though.

My parents are in Burlington, and my mom said that the smell is even overpowering there.

Or, as my wife puts it, it is blocking out the giant magnifying glass we've been living under for the past week. Only 85 degrees outside. Need to wear a coat today!
