All Pho is not alike. Find a great source and dive in. Too bad for those of you who have had Pho that's not so good, or didn't know what to add to it to bring out the flavors (a good restraunt will also serve lots of stuff for you to add, including fresh stuff).

Yup, pho rocks. Pho Tai rocks more.
You gotta find a good restuarant though... I've had some pretty bad pho before... So if you;ve only had it once and didn;t like it ask a friend to recommend a good place then try it there...

Anyways, anyone else order it with the meat on the side? That's the way to do it... That way it doesn;t cook too much...

A lot of people have "Ca phe sua da" with Pho. It's actually a strong French expresso coffee with condensed milk. Try it out next time you're at a Vietnamese restaurant.

is that the drink where you let it sit and drip down into the cup?

my mom started making pho alittle while ago... so tired of it. i could sure go for some grilled pork chops though. 🙂

no, it's just coffee w/ condensed milk 😛

and pho is really good.. assuming it's made well. My mom does a really good job... it's really hard to find a decent restaurant that has good pho. i've noticed it's generally too salty
