Anyone else in here like Pho`???

Pho is good. Around my place (5 minute drive) they have this 14"x6" bowl loaded with meat and noodles which goes for $6 CDN.
 
When did Vietnamese develop a recipe for beef noodle soup? I could understand if it was water buffalo, but beef?

Pho is actually fairly young. Vietnamese cuisine as it is known today was mostly created after the French colonized Vietnam.
 
lol...searching is your friend. But yeah, everybody here loves pho, including me, even tho I don't have many good places around here that serve it.

Which reminds me...I need to hit up Toronto. 🙂

I like it, but i don't like the noodles. When my mom makes it, she specifically tosses in extra ox tails because that's all i eat.. mmmmm
