Anyone else in central Jersey using Nextel?

The service has become so bad, I'm thinking of switching carriers.
The amount of dropped calls and dead spots makes it almost impossible to have a decent conversation. Anyone else in this area have this experience?

my dad used nextel until he decided to switch over to verizon. the rest of my family uses verizon while i use t-mobile.

but i have no idea how bad nextel is.
