Kevin Sorbo (hercules) plays a starship captain who has some wacky adventures. That's all I know.
 
Andromeda....the ship's AI.............She's HOTT! 😀
Her real name is Lexa Doig.

It took me almost a whole episode to figure out that the Artificial Intelligence named Andromeda IS the ship. An interface (or ship's avatar as they call it) with attitude.
Sexiest starship I've ever seen.
 
man, i thought i was the only one that referred to it as hercules in space. 🙁

the movie was made in the 71. its got an erie look to it with the washed out colors.
 
I followed it for a while. I watched most of the first season and a couple of episodes from the following seasons. It started out OK but went straight downhill.

Worse. Dylan Hunt (Kevin Sorbo) is one hell of a pv$$y of a starship captain.

I am soooo tired of hearing him whine about the decisions he needs to make....... :disgust:

Although..... Andromeda/Romi (Lexa Doig), Beka (Lisa Ryder), and Trance (Laura Bertram) do make the show interesting from time to time. 😀

Now then. As for actuall character development, not physical development 😉, I am saddend by the "release" of my favorite character: Tyr Anasazi (Keith Hamilton Cobb) had some of the best background, and acting I think.

Ooops. 😱 Did I just show my geek side? 😛
 
I like it.. it's fun with the eye-candy, and the Tyr Anasazi character gave it some interesting dimension, and Harper is always interesting. The new guy's (from what I've seen) rather one-dimensional..

I've got most of the episodes downloaded. The best one, imho, is season 2's "Ouroboros".
 
all the fights should consist of hercules and aliens kicking each other and sliding around on the floor.

on a side note, funny that they have had teal'c and daniel jackson of stargate sg-1 on the show and daniel killed teal'c.🙁 guess they let him do something he could never do on sg-1. heh. also his sidekick from the good old hercules days was in a few eps as a ship ai, and wasn't tyr also in a bunch of hercules eps? wasn't he a centaur?

A lot of those actors are in all those scifi shows. Tony Todd (the captain of the Bellerophon from "The Lone and Level Sands" (3x05)) was also in Babylon 5: A Call To Arms, and other stuff. John DeLancie plays Beka's uncle, and he's also Q in Star Trek.
