I am totally not interested in sports anymore, neither do I get the concept.

How is the local NFL football team winning anything, a victory for the city? Are any of the players local? Did they grow up here? Is this there hometown? The team's owner had enough money and paid players to come here, play, and win. Those players have no loyalty to the city or the team. Who ever offers them more when their contract is up, they join that team.

Same goes for Basketball and Baseball. If the Houston Rockets win the championship, it's basically a bunch of players who were hired to play. The same team could have belonged to the LA, and would have done the same.

So basically sports is "I have money, let me get the best players and win".

Edit: Just a clarification. I am talking about being interested in watching sports on TV. Playing sports is still cool!

This does not compute....

No, for the most part I dont follow sports much. Boxing? Boxing PWNS J00!! But other sports? Meh. OH! And racing. Racing and boxing. But the "Spot lighted" ones like football and basketball? Meh.

I like Hockey and love soccer. Football and baseball bore me, too much time spent waiting around for something to happen. I also enjoy skiing watching and doing.

I hate hate hate hate hate Basketball.

I liked the Big 3 beofre they started having so many divisions. Now the Playoffs are watered down and last to long, especially Baseball. In baseball they should do away with the Wild Card Teams and just give the team with the best record in Baseball a bye for the first round.

i enjoyed playing when i was a kid
but i suck
so it didnt last long

dont enjoy watching. ill stop at boxing or hockey if its on and im bored, thats about as far as it goes

I never got into sports because I'm so tall and uncoordinated I could bearly walk and chew gum at the same time. I did get into racing though. I LOVE FIAA Rally racing...paid extra to get the SPEED channel on my cable to watch the races :) I can't understand why it's not more popular....guys doing 100mph down a 5 ft wide dirt road and plowing into a crowd of spectators, or flying off a cliff into a tree. Lot more exciting than NASCAR. Check this out:
