Anyone else here not have a TV?

1. I can't justify the expense. $50 for basically &&&&&& programming and horrible quality (HDTV is more)
2. don't really have time to mess with OTA although the odds of getting good HDTV would be high
3. most of the stuff I want I can find online (hulu, netflix etc) with an acceptable drop in quality (bt too sometimes )

Every time friends come over I have to basically explain that I am not broke It's getting annoying too. these are smart people but for some reason not having a TV makes people pity you I whip out the projector but they still can't understand how I don't have cable or even OTA....

I'm thinking about cutting off my cable service because cost vs. use is getting ridiculous now (see #3). With that being said I'm not sure where you're going with 'horrible quality (HDTV is more)'.

I have a TV, but I pretty much only use it for console gaming.

I don't watch much TV, and when I do, I use the HD tuner in my computer. I don't know which part of NoVA you're in, but the only HD channels I pick up are the NBC4, FOX5, ABC7, CBS9, 20, 22, 32, 50, and four WETA stations (one is all kiddy programming, one is all cooking and crafts, and the other 2 are watchable).
