Like 5 years ago, I was in the grocery store and found a gallon of something called "Vanilla Milk" "What a great idea" I thought to myself, so I grabbed it and brought it home. I've always definitely been more of a vanilla man than chocolate, and I hate strawberry (for ice cream, or any kind of flavoring) so I figured it would be good.
It was better than good. It was GREAT. It was way too rich to be a substitute for regular milk, but it was still damn good. A few days later when I ran out I went back to get some more, but there was none left. I asked a dude when they'd be getting more and they guy was like "I don't think we are, nobody seemed to like it" I was dumbfounded.
Since then, I very, very occasionally can find vanilla milk in quart sized boxes. I haven't seen it in like 2 years, though. Up till now, I've been adding Vanilla Quik to the milk, which isn't great, but it's better than nothing. Now they've stopped selling that too! 18 goddamn varieties of chocolate and strawberry but no vanilla? How is that acceptable?
About a week ago I found tiny little pint bottles of it at a gas station quickie mart, but those will be gone soon enough.
Am I really the only one who likes this stuff?
