Like 5 years ago, I was in the grocery store and found a gallon of something called "Vanilla Milk" "What a great idea" I thought to myself, so I grabbed it and brought it home. I've always definitely been more of a vanilla man than chocolate, and I hate strawberry (for ice cream, or any kind of flavoring) so I figured it would be good.

It was better than good. It was GREAT. It was way too rich to be a substitute for regular milk, but it was still damn good. A few days later when I ran out I went back to get some more, but there was none left. I asked a dude when they'd be getting more and they guy was like "I don't think we are, nobody seemed to like it" I was dumbfounded.

Since then, I very, very occasionally can find vanilla milk in quart sized boxes. I haven't seen it in like 2 years, though. Up till now, I've been adding Vanilla Quik to the milk, which isn't great, but it's better than nothing. Now they've stopped selling that too! 18 goddamn varieties of chocolate and strawberry but no vanilla? How is that acceptable?

About a week ago I found tiny little pint bottles of it at a gas station quickie mart, but those will be gone soon enough. :( Am I really the only one who likes this stuff?

I've never seen it or I probably would have tried it because I like vanilla more than chocolate too

I like it about as much as I like chocolate milk...maybe even a bit more.

But as I take most of my milk with cereal, I prefer plain

If you can find it Horizon Organic sells single serve vanilla milk boxes.
They are kind of expensive, but quite good and don't need refrigerating.

Just add a drop of vanilla extract to your milk...

I've tried that. I dunno, it's just not the same. Anyone who's tried Shamrock Farms or Quick Vanilla Milk know what I'm talking about.

Um, it's like melted, slightly less thick vanilla ice cream...

I think you're thinking the "milkshake" type vanilla milk products out there. Quick makes one, so do a few other people. They're gross, that's exactly what they taste like, melted ice cream.

My wife likes it, and I don't think it's bad. We buy the 12 pack (x1 Qt) from Costco.

Then add sugar to it.

That's certainly something I've seen a lot of. I've always been worried that they throw vanilla flavor in there to conceal the fact that Soy milk tastes like ass. (Never tried soy milk) I'll definitely give it a whirl, thanks.

I drink it some mornings when I am avoiding coffee but I also don't see it for sale much around here.

I get mine from the coffee shop just some milk + a shot of that vanilla syrup they use and MmmmMmmm good.

Should see if you can't find a bottle of syrup or at least hit a coffee house to see if that is more what your looking for.

a drop of vanilla extract AND a 1/2 to 1 cup of powdered sugar AND a 1/4 cup of heavy cream
