I was going to make a long post but Ill keep it short. Someone in your household hides all your shit or puts it away and then you spend half your life looking for it? I'm talking about tornado style hiding as in, you come into the door, place a document on the table for a few minutes while you get settled in, come back, and BOOM, it's gone already stashed in a drawer.

Is this someone who hides things where they don't belong all the time?
Is this someone who lives with you and is trying to cover up their pot usage?
Is this someone who constantly sneaks into your house and stays still in the shadows of your closet for days on end?

you am cannot grammar, n0ob

Here we go with the "move out" responses. Only this time, my dad's in the same boat as me, should he move out too?

My mom does this all the time, not so much to me, but to my dad. He gets pissed off since he'll have some important document on the table and whoosh, gone in recycling, garbage, or in the massive junk drawer that my mom shoves EVERYTHING in. This is a 4'*2*2* drawer. Whenever I ask where something is and she points there, I just turn around and forget about it. Impossible to find anything in there. It's a black hole drawer basically.

The 'spouse' of one of my friends is like that. Hides paper, pens, DVD-Rs, his cigarettes. Drives him crazy.

Maybe, he should learn to communicate with his wife.

And yes, you should move out.

LOL @ black hole drawer, my mom does the same exact thing! We have a drawer in our living room and everything resides in those 6 drawers, stuffed to the max with shit. You will find stuff like cell phones, wallets, credit cards, documents, diplomas, tax returns, candy, cameras, remote controls, etc in there, stuffed!!! It's impossible to find anything without dumping the whole thing out. Drives me and my dad nuts!

LOL ok master of communication :) They have been together 25 years, I'm pretty sure learning anything at this point would be a pointless venture.

Hey now Mr. Independance ;)

I'm not judging. I have no place to do that. But when I am relying on other people's kindness, I try not to control what they do in their own house. If someone picks up my stuff because I left it laying around, so be it. If I get mad because I can't find something, I am usually more mad at myself for being a lazy bastard and not taking care of it myself.

That's cool, but you would be pissed off if you left something for a few minutes somewhere knowing that you are going to be taking it and putting it in a place of your own where you remember, then coming to do so and finding it gone.

Edit:

Oh and I'm 24. My pops is 51. Moms 47 or something, maybe 48 :)

I once visited an old friend's house whose room fit this description almost perfectly.

Heck yeah I would be...but then again, I'm not allowed to stay pissed. When I am mad, something is wrong with me. I try to focus on gratitude at that point. Its much better to have to search all over the house to find something than to not have a house at all.

Now if you were a 14 year old punk ranting about mommy, I would tell you to STFU. Since you have some years behind you, I think you can be mature enough to talk to mom in a civilized way and come to some kind of agreement. Leave a basket upstairs for her to throw your stuff in and then take it downstairs at night....or something like that. Then thank you mom for being so awesome and have her pose for some special ATOT approved pics.

Hiding her stuff and the basket are some pretty good ideas :) But as for talking with her, this is something my dad and I have talked to her about for years now, hopeless case.

And I posted pics of my mom before after she pummeled the black chick that hit my car with her jumbo ring. Not sure where they are now...
