Anyone else having trouble with adobe Premiere 6.5 and winxp

HI installed this on my amd system with winxp and when I start it opens the initial splash screen and begins to load the nclose...

I went and installed it on my second computer running w98se and it worked fine...

I tried installing on my c: drive..the boot drive as recommended in troubleshooting as well as my d: drive..but it is a no go...I have acrobat 5 and adobe phtodeluxe 1.1 on my computer ..I am guessing the problem maybe a bad or corrupt file from one of these programs or my c: drive may need to be cleaned up..I last reformatted back in Dec 2001...but I dread this .....

any ideas

xp HERE AND NO PROBLEM WITH 6.5 WHAT SO EVER.

I AM A BIT UNDERWELLMED WITH IT SO FAR. I GUESS TIME WILL TELL.

I am pretty sure there is a conflict with something just not sure where..probably from another adobe product...I had Photoshop and uninstalled it and bet this part of the problem
