Anyone else having trouble keeping explorer locked in place?

i'm only asking cause i'm super-anal bout my setup and i like having my windows explorer basically 'docked" so everytime i open it it opens in the same palce... there's is that option to remember tisze and position but for some reason mine keeps resetting to that default location in the middle of the screen... anyone else with this problem and anyone with a fix?... funny thing is some other machines i have on XP DO keep their window size and position... weird... well, T.I.A. for replies...

Try hitting Crtl + click on the X (close)
