Anyone else having trouble connecting to Berkeley?

Since about late Friday or so, I haven't been able to flush the queue to Berkeley. 🙁

I've got enough WUs for a few more days, but I'd like to flush/fetch to someone else's queue until I can figure out what's wrong with my own. It can't even ping the Berkeley server, but can access any other site on the web I try, including email, ftp, etc. Any ideas? With the ping test, it's reporting:

Connect failed to 'shserver2.ssl.berkeley.edu:80'. network i/o timedout The version is 3.03.2.2b

Tried a couple ideas, but still no joy. It seems like I can connect to anything else on the web I want, just not this. 🙁

I've reconfigured IP, disconnected from the firewall, re-connect straight up and still nothing. :|

I've got over 70 WUs done, so I'd like to get 'em sent out.

wirelessenabled - Thank you very much! 🙂 I was able to connect to your queue with absolutely no problem at all! If you don't mind, I think I'll just leave it this way for a while. I've been averaging between 36 and 45 WU/day mostly.

I believe the same thing happened to me last week. I cant remember exactly what I did, but I belive all I did was exit and start it back up.

Not using TDS are you? Lots of threads on the S@H msg boards about not being able to connect & alot of them seem to be using TDS for internet.

One guy said he couldn't connect with his DSL or dial-up from one ISP, but had an old dial-up account with a different ISP & could connect with that.

No problem. I will up the WU stash in case I have problems with Berkeley. I am fortunate enought to have a 3 megabit connection so 45 WUs a day is no problem. About 90 seconds more connect time per day when Berkeley is working right.😀

Funny you should mention that.. I *am* now using TDS Metrocom DSL! :Q I've had it for a couple weeks now though and had no problems connecting to Berkeley prior to this past Friday.. I wonder why the difference now? I check on the leased IP and it's still the same as before. 😕

Oh well, at least I can connect to wirelessenabled's queue - that's all that matters. 🙂
