Anyone else having problems displaying SOME graphics in IE 6.0?

I just upgraded to IE 6.0, and some graphics do not display properly in the Anandtech forums. Instead of displaying, the graphics are replaced with the generic white blank box with the little red "x" thingie. The graphics are almost always small .gif files (such as smilie faces, or the "thread-header-start.gif" image, and so on). For example, as I type this message, the file "http://subscriber.anandtech.com/i/editoricons/link.gif" is not displaying properly in the above editing menu (that contains icons for bold, italics, underline, and so on), and is replaced by the small white box with the little red "x". Interestingly, the graphics files will show properly if the page is refreshed. I've also noticed this problem at times when trying to view eBay pages. The problem is intermittent, and is again solved by refreshing the page in question. Any suggestions? I've tried the MS solutions, but none have yet worked.

Yes, a lot of people are/were having this problem. I uninstalled SP1 and it went away.

after sp1 i have had those issues. it is annoying. i just have to refresh. it doesn't happen every time though.

I haven't updated anything and this just started for me a few days ago. Just when they increased the bandwidth for non-subscribers. Could just be a coincidense but it didn't happen to me until two days ago and I haven't changed anything.

Images might be timing out for non-subscribers.

XP doesn't do this now (just installed XP... moved up from win2k)

I didn't have that problem in WinXP Pro until I installed SP1.
