Anyone else having MAJOR Postini issues with NO updates

I've used Postini for.... I'd guess 8 years now. In the rare occurance of an outage they've always been excellent at updates, what's happening, etc etc.


I have not reliably received external mail from them since 6am or so this morning. They have provided NO updates, and after waiting on hold for a CSR for 1 hour I gave up.


For people that don't know, Postini is a spam filtering service where you change your mx records to point to Postini, who accepts ALL of your mail. They filter out the junk and only send 'good' mail to your mail server thus cutting way down on virus/spam etc that hits your network.

We are having major Postini issues too...external mail is close to non-functional. My team doesnt manage these services, but I havent heard an ETA for resolution from our systems team.

Ugh... I can't believe more people aren't upset about this.


20 hours of downtime, all with the promise of "no emails dropped" (which is bullshit, often times their smtp servers were accepting the connection then dropping thus lost email)



The worst part??? NO communication. This is fine with gmail, gchat, google news, google calendar...... but if you have a corporate class product you can't pull this shit... Arg I'm still pissed.

I've had a couple of clients on Postini in the past. They've had their ups and downs. Literally. I've NEVER seen Postini admit they had a problem, even when emails were lost or delayed by days.
