I have been trying to post a car of mine for sale, but every 24~ hours it seems to get deleted for being flagged?

It's my pictures, no external links ... so confused and annoyed!
 
Ummm you're ViviTheMage? Screw Craigsshitlist. You do hosting right? Make your own list called ViviList, or MageList or something and compete with them. They suck.

For sale is my 2009 335i with xdrive 4 door. Well maintained, non-smoking vehicle, garage kept while I owned it. I am selling because my commute went from 6~ miles to 32 miles one way.

What's been done:
all maint per the book - cabin filter, air filter, oil change + inspection 500 miles ago (have receipts if needed).
plugs were swapped at around 55k~ at some point as well.

- Navigation (with the latest 2014 maps installed)

- heated steering wheel (second best feature to the sport seats)
- fold down rear seats
- sunroof
- 30% tinted
- leather interior
- lighting around door and door sil when you unlock the car
- cruise control
- winter BMW mats (and the cloth ones)
- 2 key fobs
- 6 disc CD changer
- AUX port
- head unit has the built in hard drive so you can load music on to it (via USB) and access via idrive
- shadowline trim
- Inline 6 cylinder twin turbo engine (N54 engine)

I have two sets of rims for it:

SUMMER STYLE STYLE 189
Michelin pilot sports AS 3 (brand new replaced a few miles ago as I punctured my old tires so replaced them a few days ago)
255/35R18 - rear
225/40R18 - front

WINTER STYLE 188
general arctic altimax
225/45/R17

Currently mounted on the summers. The price includes both winter and summer set. TPMS is working on all 8 wheels as well.

someone texted me a sob story about just graduating college, wanting a twinturbo car, and offered 15k ... dealersaid they'd give me 19.5 fortradein, so they have highest offer haha.

I sold my car two weeks ago and took it to Carmax first for an appraisal ($8,500). Posted it on Craigslist for $9,500 and sold it within a day!

Not sure why Vivi's ad would be flagged, at least based on his text version.
 
If the dealer will give you $19.5k, why are you futzing with CL over 10% more?

OTOH chances are the dealer is adding a few grand over the market value of the car you buy to jack up the trade in allowance.

Why give up a nice car over such a modest commute?

already picked up a TDI golf ... the mpg's are so nice.
 
Probably some jelly asshole that would love to buy it but living in his mom's basement a nice car like that is like a pipe dream so the prick flags it for no reason because he couldn't possibly own one. Is there some way to contact CL and see who's flagging it and why??.
 
It's both easy for those competing with you to flag your ad and those you turned down their low bid.

It's the wild west still, but I know a lot of dealers that do well with CL selling cars.

As said above though, it's doubtful you will get that extra 10% from CL and when/if you do you are married to that transaction forever.

I hate selling cars as the next owner (and all my rides have been sold in near showroom condition and with any maintenance items needed disclosed which has usually just been a new set of tires) will come back 3-6 months later with some bullshit "you forgot to tell them about". One literally got into a front end collision and was hoping he could pressure me in to helping him fix it or he'd return the car.

I've known many people who when selling a particular vehicle, they will scan the ads for the same vehicle and then flag them so that when someone is looking for this vehicle, there will only show a few. The less of any vehicle (supply and demand) makes the vehicle worth more.

How often have you heard when selling a car on CL, there is another guy on CL selling the same car for $800 less. By flagging, this, another guy, now disappears.
 
Put it in a neighboring Craigslist and see what happens.

But are people willing to pay serious money for a vehicle on Craigslist?

hahaha, yeah ... I had it in there the first time, flagged/removed. I removed it and still flagged/removed. You are supposed to not put your phone number in the ad anymore I think, so I tried without. It's in the top now ... you click 'see contact info'.

do you have links to externally hosted pictures? i got flagged repeatedly for that at one time.

Someone tried to buy a bike of mine, his sob story was he could only offer me 3k because he had to make payments on his $400k townhouse and his Infiniti G35. lol, yeah you can afford a couple more grand for a cheap bike. or you shouldn't be buying a bike at all.

if you're poor and have college loans, don't buy a twin turbo 335i. get your ass in a corolla.
