anyone else having issues with origin going offline?

its been happening to me all weekend

not sure its an internal issue with some network hardware here, or if they are just having issues

ME3 and origin keep dropping me and it kicks me out of ME3 online play

I don't think I used it this past weekend but I used it yesterday with no issues. I only play SP but I still was able to connect to the EA server.

I have issues with Origin randomly going offline, particularly after a reboot. Also, have issues with it erratically sucking 30% CPU cycles and 3GB of RAM. Worthless crap.

Yup, I was having the same issues. I think it was because the authentication servers were getting DDOS'd. If I read the numbers correctly it was 1000% more traffic than the norm even for the long weekend.

I would expect more odd things to occur with the BF3 Armoured Kill releases for PS3 (this week) and PC/360 (next week).

freakin sweet

atleast I dont need to be doing any serioius troubleshooting just yet then

I could do SP fine, but MP was awful with alot of drops

I've been seeing things like this when I go to launch BF3. I think it's not origin going offline, but just the fact that I never logged in to begin with.

while not PC related exactly i have noticed that BF3 on the PS3 is losing its connection to EA a lot more than it ever did before
