Anyone else having issues with Moduslink?

I've tried unsuccessfully to register for my free upgrade now about a dozen times since early November; I get an error on the Moduslink website that my COA is unable to be verified, I email them, they say they reset my COA, I try again, it errors on me again. This is very annoying - just was wondering if anyone else was having the same problems.

Yes -- times 5

Problems with 2 upgrades from OEM Windows Media Center Edition (from Newegg, this one might be coming to resolution). I am a hobby builder.

Problems with 2 upgrades on Compaq Notebooks (from WalMart).

Problems with 1 upgrade on Toshiba Notebook (from Best Buy).

IMHO Moduslink (a shell company of M$) has no interest in honoring the "express upgrade" they promised for purchasers of new computers or "old" versions.

Good Luck

Finally, 8 weeks after mailing in my proof of purchase for the two OEM Windows Media Center Editions (from Newegg) I received this in an email from Moduslink: "Thank you for submitting your Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit CD/DVD OEM. Your validation is now complete and we will be processing your order. You should receive your order within 4-6 weeks and receive email confirmation when your order is shipped."

Still waiting for "Validation" of proof of purchase on the Compaq notebooks.

For the Toshiba notebook Moduslink still says my COA is invalid (have sent pictures and faxes). Local BestBuy is no help (basically say TS) and it seems (according to the "Geek" I spoke to) that ALL the "special" Toshibas "express upgrades" are being refused, despite having a coupon in the box and stickers on the notebook.

I think those are a little old. Our thread over at Hardforum is starting to show that some of the guys are starting to get thier upgrades.Mine has been confirmed and validated ,and they say 4-6 weeks before I have it.

Do you have the software installed and activated? If it's not, you can't get the coa verified, until you install the qualifying software. Some have CLAIMED they got thier upgrade coupon threu without having the softwarte installed, but it wouldn't verify for me until I installed MCE2005. Keep the E-mails rolling ,always using the reply button, to keep the tracking number in your e-mail 1-800-817-5602 if you want to try a phone call.
