Anyone else having issues with Internet Explorer 8 in Windows 7?

I LOVE the window preview feature IE8 offers that firefox and such cant touch, however whenever i go to start IE 8 it takes a solid 8sec or so to launch. Firefox (and pretty much any other program) are instant. Also, somethings IE8 pauses for a few seconds when browsing web pages. It doesn't lock, just freezes for a few seconds.

Anyone else having these issues? Any ideas how to troubleshoot? Yes, i sent Microsoft beta reports with as much info as i could.
 
I'm not experiencing the issues that you are, and don't know what advice to offer other than "it's part of beta testing".
