Anyone else having driver issues with 390.77?

I'm running a gtx 780 ti on 1709 x64 and I've seen some weird behavior since updating to this driver including random downgrades to my screen resolution from my native 3440x1440 to 1920x1080 without warning. This morning it fails to start giving me a black screen of death while I was watching a YouTube video.

Has anyone else had any issues with this driver? I'm inclined to roll back to the previous driver.

Haven't had any notable issues on a GTX 670 and a GTX 970, but our variety of games is typically limited to 2.

Also we play on a 16:9 resolution so that may help (2560x1440... so not 1080p at least).

I also had evga precision loaded when those issues happened so I'm wondering if there's a conflict between it and the driver? I'm running without it loaded and haven't had either happen again.

Yes I rolled back to a previous version. There's a problem with these drivers and the occulus rift. It does not shut down correctly and the rift keeps waking the PC up and opening the occulus software. Also noticed better VR performance with the previous drivers in digital combat simulator so I've stuck with the old drivers for now.

I think it's something occulus needs to fix but I'm not sure when they will or if they have already.
