Anyone else having Comcast problems?

I can't connect to programs like AIM or Xfire, and my Audioscrobbler hasn't submitted a single track today and I've had music playing since 8:30 AM. I can surf the web just fine and the "blue frog" is downloading and uploading fine as well. Anyone else having weird stuff like this happen to them right now?

are they still having DNS issues?

comcast has been find here in boston all day, i know because ive been up all day, fing insonmia

The other day I went back to using the DNS:

4.2.2.2

4.2.2.3

Was having loads of packet loss / slow internet with auto assign DNS from Comcast.

I always run on .1 and .2 for my DNS servers... auto-assign is so sh1tty.

So it looks like I'm the only one. Anyone have any ideas why I'm having these issues?

I cant connect to AIM either, then again I did block it with my firewall...

See, why the fvck would you even post that? Honestly, did you not get the message so that's why you put it in your sig, to look at everytime and remind yourself?

No, you're not. You posted saying you couldn't access a program then said you blocked it with your firewall. What the fvck does that add to this thread? How does that help me figure anything out?

When it rains it pours, I fvcking swear.

You posted a serious question in ATOT, what did you expect? Threadcrappers will be threadcrappers just ignore them and they'll go away, otherwise PM the Mods about it with a link to the thread in question.

Im simply stating that I dont have any problems with Comcast right now.

You make zero mention of Comcast in your post, and offer really no usuable information at all. Your post was pointless.

It wasn't even a threadcrap, it was just a waste of bandwidth. Honestly if the mods want to complain about how much bandwidth a "IBTL" post or parody thread takes up, shouldn't they do something about useless posts such as these who come from posters who are proven to post nothing but worthless nonsense?

XFire went down last night for a system upgrade and forced a new install of their client on your PC (on comcast). After it did that, I connected just fine.

As for AIM, I dont know, I use GAIM and it has been working problem free for the past few days (on comcast)

Audioscrobbler was down all day yesterday as well, and I havent been able to submit tracks this morning for some reason (not on comcast for this)

I'm having issues with Comcast again, similar to when their DNS servers went AWOL a few weeks back. Anybody else?

Havn't had problems, but I'm still using Cisco's DNS servers (they're more responsive than Comcast's, even during uptime)
