anyone else having a problem with TiVo beacon and AntiVir?

so I'm cheap and I run a free virus scanner called AntiVir version 6. I also have a TiVo and use the software supplied by TiVo to access programs I have on my TiVo on my PC. One component of The TiVo software is called TiVo beacon. It runs in the background.

Well, AntiVir keeps detecting TiVo Beacon as a huerensic backdoor virus. I assume that yes, it is a backdoor type program, but the results are desirable rather than unwanted.

Am I correct in this thinking?
