Anyone else having a problem with interference on new Klipsch preamps?

I just got the new preamp for the Klipsch Promedia v.2-400. After installing it I am getting loud radio interference through the speakers. It seems to depend on the position of the volume knob. For some reason as I turn the volume down the radio gets louder. And if I connect headphones, forget about it...all I can hear through them is radio. Is there a problem with the preamp? Should I return it?
