Anyone else having a problem with Intellimouse 4.0?

I just upgraded to the Intellimouse v4.0 software for my Intellimouse Explorer v1, and now I can't change the button assignments? The tab for that just isnt there anymore. Anyone else having this problem or know how to solve it?

Didn't know that version 4 was out. I'm going now to dl it. I'll let you know how it goes.

Works fine here using Intellimouse optical. Looks almost the same as version 3 except for a new icon in systray and start menu. I'm able to change all button assignment. Maybe you should uninstall the program and reinstall.

Did you deinstall the old Intellimouse software first, or did you just run the v4.0 setup over it? Microsoft's instructions specifically say you can't have previous installs in place when you run the v4.0 .exe.

I've uninstalled/reinstalled several times, I still only get the 4 default tabs for generic mice.
