Do any of you with the Yamaha AC-XG AC'97 codec for sound have treble/bass controls in the Windows Volume control?
My laptop came with Yamaha AC-XG for built-in sound, and the lack of treble/bass control makes the audio sound like crap to my ears. Not sure if the AC-XG doesn't have this functionality, or whether it's just the driver version that came with my laptop.
So I'm curious if anyone else with Yamaha AC-XG sound does have treble/bass control in Windows volume (usually have to have "Advanced controls" under "Options" checked for it to appear).
