I thought iPod ear buds were supposed to be super cool awesome best evar.

I can't keep the damn things in my ears!!! They keep falling out. Do I have undersized ear canals or something?

I have the ear buds that come with my Pioneer XMP3 too and end up using those for my iPod because they actually stay in my ears.

iPod ear buds are pretty crappy. Post up in the A/V forum, if you want some great suggestions for all price ranges. I just use these CX300-B's Great for the money.

I've always had problems with ear buds. Got a set of Koss Plugs (they go into your ear canal), problem solved.

I don't need suggestions. Thanks. I love the earbuds that come with my Pioneer XMP3.

I had just heard from some people that "iPod earbuds are so good, I don't know why people feel the need to buy expensive replacements". I was checking to see if my own experience was unique.

iPod earbuds are very average. Not bad, but not particularly good.

The ipod buds to me are just a bit too big feeling. I mainly use some sony ones that feel like they fit much better.

ibuds are bleh or meh at best.

the apple dual driver iem's are surprisingly decent/good, especially for the <$40 prices on ebay.

I don't know about those but I have the CX500-B and those suck. No bass whatsover.
I guess it's because I sometimes use my headbanger earsubs and those rock.

everyones got different sized ears. thats the problem with earbuds. they really only work for some people.. the silicon rubber tip kind with different sizing is better. less hearing damage as well since they block a bit of ambient noise so you don't have to turn earbuds up to the point where other people can hear them:p

Bass != good sound. It's fun to listen to, but not accurate.

I love my Super Fi 5 Pros. Fun to listen to, but the Shures are definitely more accurate. Yes iPod earbuds suck. I barely used them and stuck to my Sony Fontopias before upgrading to Ultimate Ears.

Had problems ever since my first pair back with the 2nd generation of iPod. Hurt them way too much. Got IEMs and got the better sound and comfort.
