I keep the sites I visit most in the Bookmark Toolbar folder, which is the one that's displayed under the search bar. Sometimes it magically hides all of the links while keeping the bar, and hides them in a button that looks like ">>". What's up with that? I don't want a drop-down list, I want them spread horizontally across like they were. If I close all the Firefox windows and then open Firefox again, it goes back to normal. Is there some kind of key shortcut I'm accidentally pressing or something?

Does that if I leave it running when I change users. Doesn't matter if I use Firefox as the other user, I'll come back and the bookmark bar is >>.

Me, too.

To fix, I hide the whole bar, and then display it again.

There are a few other things that kinda tick me off, but overall, I still like it better than IE. One thing is randomly, when I click on a .wmv file, it loads the file as notepad would in a tab, and slows itself down to a crawl. To fix, hit "back" or "close" immediately and wait a few seconds.

I also cannot stand the original theme, and I use the "Plastikfox Crystal SVG" theme, but mainly because it's gui is closer to IE.

Yah, I hate being so tied to Microsoft. It's one of the things that bugs me about linux and mac...the GUI is just a tad different than Windows. It becomes really annoying. Oh well, I guess you like what you grow up on. Plus it isn't to hard to modify themes. I've finally gotten used to Firefox's interface, although I never use the Google bar...I still click the home button to go to Google.

I only use Firefox for two things now: downloading Windows updates and doing an online virus scan ( http://housecall.antivirus.com ). For everything else, it works fine. I also use the Adblock and FireFTP extensions, they're really nice.

That's a webserver configuration issue, not a firefox issue.
