Anyone else have this problem (HDTV Related)

yes, and it pisses me off. I get it with my channel through Directv and my OTA. Not sure why it does it, though.

What receiver are you using?

Motorola DCT5100, through Cable. I'm thinking its a bandwidth issue..

I have the Samsung T160. Since both my OTA and Directv pass through it, I'm leaning towards that. But, not really sure. and I've gotten this problem on non-HD channels, I beleive.

My other non-HD set that's hooked up to directv never has this problem.

Hmm..i've never had the problem on Non-HD channels, just HD channels. It seems this technology needs time to mature..ugh.

hmmm, maybe I'm wrong, or maybe it's due to heavy clouds rather than the problem, whatever it is, that the HD reception is experiencing.

I'd call my cable company and complain, but it would do no good. The problem makes football games basically unwatchable, as the it skips randomly every 10-15 seconds. Its not a big deal, but its frustrating and very annoying.

the technology has been available since the early 90's, i don't think it needs anymore time to mature.

maybe it's a source related issue with DirectTV? is this happening on all HD channels?

Hmmm... I've seen such things occasionally, but I just use OTA signals so it's to be expected (i.e. weather related, etc...). On good days I can watch an entire football game and never hear the sound skip.

And in America, technology takes relatively forever to mature.
