Anyone else have q3 1.27 crashing on them at startup?

I installed the point release, rebooted. I installed the new rocket arena 3, rebooted. Now whenever I go to play q3, it crashes saying quake3 has cause an error in quake3.exe. Every time, and my desktop resolution stays at my q3 resolution. Anyone else having this problem? I've got a p3 933 with the 6.37 detonator drivers and a gts 32mb. I have never ever had a problem before.
 
dunno what's going on w/ quake lately. rather stable game till these last past couple of weeks.
i myself am also having problems. cd key is invalid supposedly. i reenter try and connect to a server in ra3, same problem. i check cd key and it's not listed, so i type it again and try again, same thing.
go back to check cd key, not there again.

ugh...wth is going on?!
 
it works fine for me. However, I had to uninstall, then reinstall. For some reason the upgrade didn't like what I had already installed... Try that
 
shoot.. I dont want to do that I have it specially configed that took a long time to make.... I guess I could do it but thats a pain it should just work.
 
Hey! My download doesn't even work🙁. It got to 17MB and clicked over so it started at o% again, with Download Accelerator!:|
