Anyone else have problems with Gamefly?

So I have had Gamefly for about 8 months now. Overall I have probably sent 5-6 games back to them at first it would take 1-3 days for them to get my return (I live in Los Angeles where they are being sent to). But the last 2 I sent back have never got there, one I sent 2.5 weeks ago reported it and they sent a new game. The last one I sent just about a week ago and they haven't received that one too. Is this normal for Gamefly?

What is the point if it takes 2+ weeks to get a new game when I could walk the game back to them faster then that

maybe you should notify Gamefly and USPS
I've heard of/seen several people who like to steal these things and netflix from the mail.

I reported the first one...waiting a couple more days for the second one.

I have sent netflix back from the same place for years and never had a single one go missing

I was a member for about 8 months with no problems whatsoever. Then I canceled my account, sent the two games back and they "never got them".

Seems like they shouldn't be able to charge you if the usps or some jerk raiding mail boxes is stealing them. But I'm sure it's all outlined in the TOS.

I agree.

The first time I used the service, I had the same problem as the OP.. I canceled my account, before they started charging me for them. I always dropped my returns in the locked blue mailbox in front of the post office, as I am there a couple times per week anyway. The games were obviously being stolen by the mail carriers, or their employees.

Movies arent so bad anymore, they are cheap. But when someone sees a Gamefly envelope, they know there is a good chance there is a 30-50 dollar game in there. Temptation is that much higher.

I resigned up again 2 months ago, and am 1 for 1 so far. Hopefully the theif is on to other things, I really would like to keep the service this time.

That's another thing, we used to have a problem with things "not arriving" when we used the blue mail boxes, so we switched to only dropping them off inside the local USPS office, and we've had 100% arrivals of returns.
