Anyone else have problems with DVD Shrink and the Plextor?

I have the latest DVD Shrink (3.15) and the Plextor 708. Can't seem to get it to burn any faster then 2.4x. Anyone know how to get it to burn at 4x or even 8x? Thanks.

I was messing with this yesterday. I just figured it was my media.

Do you have the latest FW?

Yup, that I do have 1.04. The only program that it burns at 2.4x at is when I use the option for the built-in Nero burning. When I use DVDXCopy, Nero, etc, it can burn up to 8x. The only reason I switched from DVDXCopy to DVDShrink was that I noticed the quality was much better using Shrink, but if I can't burn better then 2x, that'll be very upsetting.
