Anyone else have crucial w/ samsung chips?

I recently ordered a stick of Crucial PC2700 512mb directly from crucial. I opened it up and discovered samsung chips on it!

I haven't tested it by itself, I have another stick of crucial pc2700 from newegg running in the same rig. I'm not sure what kind of chips it has, but I know they aren't samsung. I get random reboots at 172 fsb, but I think it's because I have 2 sticks.

What kind of results have others gotten with the crucial w/ samsung chips?

Samsung are amongst the most kick-ass, overclocker-preffered chips in the world. Along with Daewoo, but i havent seen daewoos since PC133.

In the old days, yes. Now Samsung PC3200 is pretty useless for overclocking compared to other brands that can run crazy fsb w/ tight timing. The "original" PC 2700 is another story (220mhz at 2-3-3-6) Daewoo went bankrupt a couple of years ago & its CEO is on the run (has been a fugitive for the past 2 yrs.)
