Anyone else have an irrational fear of zombies?

I have a weird, unnatural fear of zombies for some reason.

It'll be like I'm at Disneyland, I look around and think to myself "I could make a stand here."

I sometimes imagine they're outside at night, searching for a way in.
Sometimes I double check the doors...

I think they're comin' for me!

I'm totally the same way.

I love that the new office I just moved to would make a great place to hole up in :p no windows whatsoever on the first floor and all the doors are pretty well enforced. we're also in the middle of nowhere.

When I was young and played Resident Evil 2, I was downright paranoid and got into a bit of a depression phase.

I laugh at it now, but man I was really scared back then.

Its not irrational and you'll definitely get the last laugh when your coworkers fall victim to the zombie horde because they failed to plan.

Nothing wrong with being prepared. I have my zombie plan figured out if they hit while I'm at work. Not much else to do on the nightshift.

The way I battle any irrational fear (this thought only takes a couple seconds before I calm down) about monsters in the dark/robbers or whatever evil is I tell myself it doesn't matter. If I die, I die. No problem, I guess it was my time. I don't want to spend any time worrying about dying, and instead enjoy living :p I mean my philosophy is, if I die of some monster, I would think "cool way to die :p". If it's something that I have knowledge of beforehand, and I can change outcome, I still won't worry. I'll "cross the bridge when I come to it", for the latter case.

Lol... I do the same things! Sometimes when I am bored I try to figure out the best route/location to escape to in event of a zombie attack.

There was a flash zombie mob a couple of years ago in San Francisco. Good time to put your plan to a test!

I sometimes notice that a particular building would be a great place to play paintball. I've never played paintball.

This should help you relax and take your mind off zombies.

It's totally understandable, since there have been SO many zombie attacks in recent months.

dont worry, they are always directly behind you...you can never see them as they turn when you turn.
be especially careful running up stairs because this is when they like to strike.

I feel like a slow movie zombie population would be rather easy to quarantine. The zombies of 28 days later on the other hand, have a very frightening characteristic in their speed.
