As some of you may or may not remember, there was a deal about 18 months ago on an HP d145 printer. The printer has worked reasonably well so far, but now it has started to act up. Every time I try to print, all of the lights flash and I get a message saying "Turn the power off and on."
HP's online support only suggested that the error was the result of a faulty printhead. However, I can't figure out which printhead has gone bad (I have cleaned each of them, and replaced the magenta printhead). The printheads are about $35 a pop, so replacing all of them seems expensive and unnecessary. Can anyone help me out with this? Is this printer just a piece of junk?
