Anyone else have a Compaq Presario X1050US laptop?

The one that I bought for my sister apparently did not have an operating system disc. Now it is time to reinstall Windows and there are no installation/recovery files on the hard drive. I noticed when we bought it (as a used "display model") that it came with Windows XP Professional installed instead of XP Home Edition. The sticker on the bottom says that it is supposed to have come with XP Home. I'm only visiting my sister for a week so I need to find a solution ASAP. If there is a Compaq-only version of XP Home that is locked to this specific BIOS, would it be available for download through Compaq?

Borrow a Win XP Home edition CD from someone and use the key on the laptop's sticker. That's all you need.

I figured that might be the only solution. As far as I know, that key on the bottom will only work with a Compaq version of XP Home. I flew to CA from GA to visit my sister, so I don't know anyone here who might have a Compaq version of XP Home.
