Anyone Else Hate Myspace?

I'm not a fan of Myspace, but I don't dislike people who do. To each his/her own I guess.

Facebook and myspace are actually the same thing now. I just read an article in either the Reader's Digest or US News (I forget which one). The CEO of Facebook just decided to purchase myspace.

im especially not a fan of the pages that have huge pictures as backgrounds, with lots of photos all over the place, bright pink text everywhere, embedded sound and video, etc. its like an 80's music video threw up.

I hate MySpace. Mostly because of the design choice that lets users insert music/movies and random ****** on their terrible looking pages.

But, I can put aside my reason because MySpace is the killer app of Web 2.0 Do you know why? People actually meet up and have sex after meeting on MySpace and playing the weird ritualistic game of commenting/adding/messaging. If having sex with strangers isn't a killer app, I don't know what is.

Not really, no. Just like with anything else, there's going to be a flood of shitfaces to the place to give it a bad name. I've found a lot of friends through myspace who've moved to different states or out of the country that I used to go to school with. It's great to catch up.

i mainly have old school people i know on my friends list too
