That's just straight up badass, though. I wish I could grill :(

There are two kinds of grills - gas and charcoal. There are other kinds like electric George Foremans but those don't really count in serious grilling. I'm not a big fan of gas mainly because I never learned how to use one, plus you don't get the smoky flavor without adding wood chips and you have to buy more gas tanks. Charcoal is easy, although you do need to keep getting bags of charcoal.

Basically you have a grill, which is a tub with a lid. Inside the tub you have two racks, one to put the charcoal pieces on and another rack above it to put the food on. You light the charcoal using lighter fluid or newspaper and once it gets hot you put the top rack on and grill your food. It cooks very well, your food gets a great flavor, and it's really, really easy to do. I didn't have anyone around to teach me how to do it, I mostly just asked iamwiz what he recommended and everything came out great. It's pretty hard to screw up grilling unless you leave the food in too long. So you'll need a grill (good cheap ones are about $80 or so), a bag of charcoal, and some big utensils (a giant fork and spatula made out of metal for grilling work great).

Now get on over to Home Depot or Walmart and make us proud! :D

Dang, it took me longer to scrape the ice off my grill than my car did! Haha :D

Tonight's Menu:

Succulent honey mustard chicken
Oven-baked french bread
Crispy mini tater tots
Fresh salad with delicous dressing
Strawberry virgin daquiris
Dutch apple pie with ice cream for dessert

Man cooking ftw!

It's my favorite - I try to have it at last once every week or two :) I also do a lot of fish, red meat is the minority.

How do you grill your bacon? Never done just straight bacon on the grill.

Nice meal.

For scraping ice...wouldn't lightning the grill and waiting do the trick?

I haven't grilled while it is snowing. I've grilled with snow on the ground and when it's raining.

I have, I would be... if my grill wasn't still in Florida. That will be fixed next month though.

I've grilled in the snow, rain, sleet, hail, sun, humidity, pretty much any weather condition possible. And yes, how do you know when your grill is ready to cook on in winter? Why after all the snow has melted off it!

Nah, a real man would just light the grill and let the snow and ice melt off! :p
Darn it, I keep forgetting to go get the propane tanks filled. I have a few to make sure I never run out, but I finally ran out.
