Anyone else go to the chili cook off at Stone Mountain GA this weekend?

The woman and I went to the annual chili cook off at Stone Mountain, GA this Saturday.

Was a lot of fun actually even though I had without a doubt some of the worst chili I've ever tasted (nearly threw up from one of them). But it was just cool going around and sampling all the different chillies there were until I couldn't stand to take another taste.

What did everyone else do this weekend?

What was wrong with the one that made you throw up? I mean, was there possum in it or something?

Mmm chili sampling sounds good.


I went to upstate New York to a Buddhist Temple with a few people and my girlfriend. It was a 4 hr ceremony to put the remains of friends and family into this temple.

I'm not religous at all, but it really was a grande temple. And it was really something when we were inside and a couple hundred people start chanting in some foreign language to the beat of drums and cymbals. I got chills and goosebumps.

Went to a housewarming party where we watched Alabama vs. Florida. After that, went to a bachlor party that night and got wasted (to the point where I was sitting at the stripper stage drinking from my own pitcher of beer). Did nothing yesterday but watch Lost Season 2, trying to catch up for Wednesday. Overall my weekend was :thumbsdown:

Man, it seriously taste like bong water (As I remember it from my youth), it was just so nasty, my fiancee spit hers out instantly and I swallowed it down but almost threw it up

Sounds like a good weekend to me!
