WTF...

I tried to upload a few auctions a bit ago and got an error that my account was over the limit

Hmmm, I just paid off my previous balance of $26, I thought. Shouldn't be over the limit yet.

I logged on to My eBay and it said I had a balance of $127 !?!?!?

I checked out activity since last invoice and my balance should be $11

Arghg.. I need to upload some auctions and don't know how long it's gonna take to fix this.
Only ebay contact I could find was through email. Got an automated response they'll answer
my question in 24 -72 hours. I really don't want to wait that long

Anyone had problems like that before? How long did they take to fix?
Is there a better way to contact them, phone number or something ?

Found a Giant Thead on eBay's forums about it

This is happening to a lot of people. Look for the link in my first post

All eBay sellers here should check their balances and see ff the running total on their invoice
is different than the current balance.

I checked mine and it looks like it does account for you paying your last balance. It adds that into your current balance. I'll be damned if i'm gonna pay what i owe in seller fee's twice, espcially for last billing cycle.

Hmm, my balanace looks normal.

Last invoice (05/31/04): (View invoice) US $87.51
Payments and Credits since last invoice: -US $100.24
Fees since last invoice: (View account status) US $146.20

Current balance: US $133.47

But I do concur, weird things have been going on with eBays billing. I've almost overdrawn a couple of times because I didn't know WhenTF they were going to debit my account.

It looks like it's on the ~16th of the month now, at least if you have the same billing cycle that I have.

More money for ebay, as of this moment; I will be paying 23.00 in most advertising and a few selling fees. Hate to be billed twice, ebay maybe smiling when that happens but you be damned I'd be pissed cause I'm already paying too much as is. :( making very little profit on the items that I sell now and most of it is not selling because of bad economy :|

Mine went from an 18 cent credit up to a $30+ bill.

That better not end up on my CC or it's gonna be chargeback time.

Why would you move?

eBay isn't actually charging the erroneous ammounts, are they? :Q:|:Q

If Google set up some sort of auction junk, then maybe enough Internet geeks would jump over there to make eBay lower its fees. That would be a dream come true.

BTW, how are you guys checking to see if your balance is getting screwed up? Is this only happening to this month?
