Anyone else getting July 3rd work day off?

Today is a half day in preparation for the long weekend. I'm getting the 3rd, labeled "Day before July 4th" holiday, off. Anyone else with me?

must be nice....up here in Canada we had Canada Day yesterday (Tuesday) so it was kind of stupid because we got the weekend off, then had to come to work on monday, then had tuesday off. Kind of crappy but a day off is still a day off so i ain't gonna complain too hard...

Wierd. My guess is that where I work, they're using this day as a 'mandatory floating holiday' instead of giving us a real floating holiday. We get one floater but in my opinion, we should be getting 2 if it wasn't for July 3rd.

My parents don't get the 4th off.

I had Monday and Tuesday off, paid vacation days.

Work Wednesday and Thursday, another 3 day weekend

4th is a paid holiday for me. I have to work the 3rd. That's OK though; my boss and my boss's boss are on vacation and 2/3 of the office will be empty. I'll skate out the backdoor right after lunch; no one will know. Mwuahahahaha! :evil:

Oh no, technically it's not a floating holiday but I feel that while other locations get 2 floating holidays, we get 1. I believe we're getting the 3rd off as if it was a mandatory floating holiday. I mean, there is no holiday called "The Day before 4th of July" now is there?
