Anyone else getting excited about golf season?

My league starts on April 22.

I was out today hitting balls even though it's 45 degrees and there's a stiff wind.

Couldn't wait to try my new clubs (Snake Eyes FC-01s with stiff TTL shafts). I was pushing everything right with my old Ping-Zing knock-offs with regular shafts, but with these clubs I'm drawing/hooking the ball. I'll need to do some fine tuning before the season starts.

I did bomb some 5-irons 200 yds into the wind, so I'm getting psyched!

Nope.

Obviously not a golfer.

Golf has seasons? In Ca they play it year round!

There's definitely a golf season in Rochester, NY and unfortunately, it's not too long.

That's Ca as in California, not Canada, right? :)

The pros seem to do the same. They quit for like, two weeks, and then they're right back at it again. I don't know why they ever bother differentiating betweens seasons.

Played 9 holes on Wednesday actually. It was 74 degrees. Back down to 40 degress right now so it'll be a bit before I get out again.

Won't have a lot of chances to get out...too busy. This summer I'm moving to one of the greatest golf mecca's of the US: Phoenix. Woo!

Last year, I did a Priceline stay at the Arizona Golf and Country Club in Mesa.

After 3:00, 18 holes of golf is $25 with a cart. Wish I'd had my clubs. The course looked like it was in pretty good shape.
